Around the town

November 22, 2009

this is what was free…

found at a children’s playground.

I don’t know if this is funny, or just downright random.

wow….

What does Will do on the other days of the week?

Street art – thought was very cool.

A “grass”-roots campaign.

The classics never die – found in Oakland.

I’m no fashion expert, but…

Found in the Mission District.  This was a cardboard cutaway puzzle ad, but with one missing piece – funny which one it was.

English – a language world

Two glaring errors – spot ‘em!

I have never seen a bathroom sign that said to not wash your feet.

Someone tried to be funny, then somebody tried to be more funny.

Camera movement gave this shot a cool effect – but didn’t change the grammatical incorrectness.

No appointment, but 14 dollars are necessary.

Highways and by-the-ways

When he told his wife that they were getting a “green” car, he didn’t quite clarify what he meant.

On the other side of this tricked-out bus were people playing flutes and dancing in circles – no joke!

1984 Indy pace car found at gas station in east Oakland – how many of you even REMEMBER 1984??

Literally (at least in Spanish), a man-truck

BART: A constant source of hilarity

November 22, 2009

When his buddy asked him if he had “wheels” to go to San Francisco, I don’t think that’s what he meant.

This woman was getting on the train with, yes, TWO bikes.  I wonder what happened to her bicycle mate?

At first I didn’t find this woman very attractive, but on second look I found her quite “apeeling”

“Train”ing on the BART into San Francisco

This woman’s employer sent her packing

Flat-screen TV according to box – part of BART police’s efforts to better “monitor” the train stations.

Insert your own joke here…

"not an exit", but, the sign is facing OUTSIDE the business. Therefore, does that make it an entrance??
